PFD Capital Partners announced the scheduled July 31, 2026, first-in-human implantation of the investigational iKnee at Prime Surgical Center of Newport Beach. The outpatient procedure will be performed by principal investigator Dr. Christopher Woodson, with PFD Director of Clinical Operations Eric Hansen serving as the first patient. The milestone begins the iKnee’s human clinical evaluation and will assess safety, fit, fixation, comfort, mobility and function while preserving more of the patient’s natural knee anatomy than conventional total knee replacement.
