Eric is an experienced senior executive with over 24 years in the Healthcare Industry. He was the founder and CEO of a very successful surgical hardware company which he sold in 2016. Eric has held leadership and management positions in a wide range of healthcare companies. He spearheaded the retail sales force for Ross Product’s Division of Abbott Laboratories where he specialized in the Similac and Ensure brands of Nutritionals. He also worked with Codman, a Johnson & Johnson Company, selling the world’s first programmable hydro-cephalic shunt for the brain. Eric worked with Medtronic, leading the entire company worldwide in Strata Valve sales, and with DuPuy Spine, a Johnson & Johnson Company, selling the world’s first motion preservation device for the lumbar spine.
For the last decade prior to Co-founding PFD, Mr. Hansen worked for numerous start-up medical device companies in marketing and selling ancillary products and services aimed at clinic-based physician practices. Mr. Hansen received his undergraduate degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.
